Lane and Amy have been hosting board game events nearly every week since 2011. We love to connect people with each other through gaming. Our game nights are fun and friendly for first-timers and casual gamers, but also a great place for the heavy cardboard.
After hosting game nights in our home for several years, in 2016 we decided we were ready to share modern board games with a bigger community. We started a weekly public Meetup on Saturday nights, first at Crabtree Brewing, then Cranford’s Tea Tavern, then Broken Plow Brewery, then Zoom, and finally in 2022 at our own venue at Boomer House.
Anywhere along 8th Street.
If you want to use our wheelchair ramp, please access our back parking lot through the back alley.
The non-member entry fee is $9 or become a member and bring a guest!
(Memberships are $18/month)
Kids age 10+ can be dropped off. Parents must stay and play with younger kids.
Sign our guest book by the front door!
We're nerds and like to track data on attendance and which games were played.
Put on a name tag so we know what to call you. If you are a repeat customer, make yourself a lanyard! Also give yourself a sticker just for showing up.
Amy and Lane are wearing yellow trucker hats. They'll show you to the food and drinks, learn your life story, and help you get in on a game you are comfortable playing!
You'll probably be learning something new. Don't worry, modern board games are fun whether you win or lose.
For us, heaven is eating and drinking, laughing and playing around a table with friends.
